MANA is proud to announce a partnership with 2Secure Cargo Systems Inc. 2Secure is leading the way in Cargo Securement safety for our roads through the manufacture and supply of the patent pending MARVEE™ system.
MARVEE™ is an innovative safety system, based on cross tying principles, which will improve load securement by increasing lateral stability up to 96% within the transportation/warehousing industries. The system is comprised of a structural assembly designed to work in conjunction with pre-existing straps, cables and winches. It interfaces with portions of stacked cargo loads both on transport vehicles and in warehouses to stabilize these loads against lateral forces.
New Regulations
According to the current Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration cargo securement rules, securement systems must be capable of withstanding a force of .5g acceleration in the lateral direction. The MARVEE™ system not only meets, but exceeds this rating.
With the MARVEE™ System, the new regulations will be met and exceeded as well as eliminate or minimize losses to product, equipment, and even lives. According to ICBC stats one flat deck roll-over could cost in excess of $300,000, not including any possible personal injury claims.
MARVEE™ and the "method of securement" are both claimed as intellectual property in US provisional Patent Pending APP # 60/636.014 for stacked cargo securing device and method of use, registered December 15, 2004.
